Lesley Caplin

Lesley has a wide range of experience in media defence, commercial disputes, and investigations. Lesley has been involved in all aspects of commercial litigation from taking initial instructions to ultimate resolution or determination of cases, including managing large scale discovery exercises and dealing with a variety of interlocutory issues.

Lesley has been involved in a number of seminal Irish defamation actions, including O’Brien –v- MGN, Desmond –v- Times Newspapers, Leech –v- RTE and she is currently leading the day to day management of a wide range of media defence mandates, discussed below.

She is an active member of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association (WWCDA) and regularly advises on large scale discovery exercises and investigations.
